Human resource management

The main purpose of human resource units includes recruitment of employees into the organization. Another function is improving worker safety standards in the workplace, human resource units engage in workplace safety training. Human resource unit’s other functions include improving employee relations, compensation, training, and ensuring compliance with regulations (Bratton & Gold, 2012).


     The function and purpose of training is to improve productivity among employees, training also ensures that worker skills are relevant in a changing skills workplace. Training also goes a long way in ensuing that the organization is able to motivate and retain its employees. The main function and purpose of training is to ensure that individuals have the requisite skills needed in the organization (Bratton & Gold, 2012).


   Assessment centers are places where employment candidates are assessed to determine their suitability for different types of employment (Bratton & Gold, 2012). The assessment centers measure personality and aptitudes. The purpose of evaluation is to determine an individual’s significance, merit, and worth.
